Situated next to the sprawling Roodepoort taxi rank and railway station with a drawing ambience of braai smoke, Kings Butchery and Chisa Nyama has been catering for a myriad of people whether it be long distance travellers, workers from all disciplines and occupations, business people, bigger events such as party occasions, weddings, funerals, etc, or just fun loving people who just want to unwind at the and Pub and Grill downing cold ones after a sumptuous mouth-watering braai meal. It’s the favourite place and the meat lover’s heart’s delight.

Kings Butchery and Chisa Nyama has grown over the years having started with only 5 permanent employees back in 2017 and now boasts a staff compliment of over 40 personnel. Management has gradually extended and revamped the building to cater for ready meals and takeaways that include soft beverages. The butchery section is now spacious and offers a variety of fresh meat selection including bulk sales, meat hampers and rare game meat.

Only one block down Main Reef road there is a Kings branch outlet offering bulk meat sales including mala mogodu, a variety of offal meats as well as bulk processed meats and other goodies.Place your order and enjoy a drink on the table while the braai masters prepare your flame grilled meal!

The non-smoking, no drinking family section in the restaurant foyer caters for a pleasant family treat, which makes Kings exceptional in taking care of its customers. The bottle store is just the right outlet for those on the move or want to have packs for home entertainment.

During weekends, the pub and grill regularly hosts quality guest D-jays from spinning enchanting house dance beats under a fusion of bright lights to sultry laid back Soul and R&B tunes, providing a stunning magical entertainment scene for patrons. Somewhat cosmopolitan, somewhat home ground with a neoclassic African touch set-up, with easy manoeuvring around the butchery complex, the ever satisfied and happy regular customers can attest to the ever friendly mannerisms of staff, safe parking, guaranteed fresh, affordable meat products one can never get disappointed at the Kings Butchery, Restaurant, Pub and Grill where the customer is always king!
