Rising star Chloé-Jade Christian and former Miss Teen Earth International has been selected to speak at the prestigious Forbes Woman Africa Leading Women Summit 2025, an event that celebrates and empowers women across various industries. This honour marks a significant milestone in her journey as a model, musician, and advocate for self-empowerment.

Expressing her excitement, Chloé-Jade shared, “I couldn’t believe it when my mom told me that I had been asked to speak at the Forbes summit. I am so excited and feel honoured that I’ve been given this amazing opportunity to share my story.”

At the summit, which takes place on 5 March 2025 at Times Square, Pretoria, the youngster will be opening up about her journey, her hardships with bullying and discrimination and how it shaped her as a person.

The Forbes Woman Africa Leading Women Summit is a space where strong, inspiring women come together to share their personal stories—both their struggles and their successes. It stands as a beacon of empowerment and Chloé-Jade’s story is an empowering one at that.

The highly successful 17-year-old will share why she decided to start modelling in order to regain confidence and how music helped her find her voice. Through her personal experiences, she hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams fearlessly.

“The fact that the only speakers are women already tells you the type of empowerment the event has,” Chloé-Jade remarked. “Women sharing not only their most heartbreaking moments and how they built themselves back up but also talking about how they got to where they are today and encouraging the audience.”

Chloé-Jade strongly believes in the power of an African woman, defining them as symbols of resilience, wisdom, and strength.

She says, “A strong African woman embodies resilience, wisdom, and strength. She draws strength from her roots and perseveres through challenges while maintaining a strong sense of self. Whether in leadership, entrepreneurship, or community work, her strength lies in her ability to uplift others and navigate life with grace and determination.”

The influential teen also expressed admiration for fellow speakers at the event, particularly Zozibini Tunzi and Yvonne Chaka Chaka.

She states, “I really admire Zozibini Tunzi for her confidence and the way she redefined beauty by embracing her natural self. Her advocacy for gender equality and empowerment inspires me to stay true to who I am and use my voice for positive change. I admire Yvonne Chaka Chaka for her incredible music and the way she uses her voice to help others. Her passion for making a difference in people’s lives inspires me to use my own talents to create a positive impact.”

Chloé-Jade emphasizes the importance of supporting one another in the pursuit of our dreams and goals.

“To ensure that we as women continue to fight for our dreams and goals, we need to support each other to do so,” she says. “We understand each other, and therefore, standing together makes healing, learning, and growing so much easier.”

She also highlights the value of self-love, stating, “Self-love allows you to fully accept yourself, prioritize your own needs, set boundaries, and build better relationships with others. Knowing this, I try to always be aware of what I allow into my life and the things I respond to, making sure I put myself first so that I can better serve others.”

A key part of Chloe-Jade’s journey has been her unwavering faith in God. “Through every challenge and opportunity, I put my trust in God. My faith has given me the strength and guidance to keep moving forward, even when things get tough. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and that God’s plan for my life is unfolding in the most beautiful way.”

Chloé-Jade’s path thus far has been about grabbing every opportunity and making the most of it. It is a testament to perseverance and passion. Her participation in the Forbes Woman Africa Leading Women Summit 2025 will undoubtedly inspire many, reinforcing the event’s mission to uplift and empower women across the continent and beyond.

Chloé-Jade concludes, “I’ve taken every opportunity that I could and made the most out of it. I follow my heart in every situation and strive to reach my goals.”
