For the first time in our national and provincial elections, voters will be using three different ballot papers. This change aims to make the voting process more comprehensive and inclusive. Here’s a simple guide to help you understand each ballot: VIEW HERE
- Blue National Compensatory Ballot: This ballot is for voting for political parties at the national level.
- Orange National/Regional Ballot: On this ballot, you can vote for either political parties or independent candidates who are running at the national or regional level.
- Pink Provincial Legislature Ballot: This is where you vote for parties or independent candidates for the provincial legislature.
To help you get familiar with these changes, the IEC has published an informative video. It explains the layout and details of each ballot paper, ensuring that you know exactly what to do when you cast your vote.
Make sure to watch the video and understand the new process, so you’re fully prepared on election day. Your vote is important, and being informed makes all the difference.
