Commercial Property Selling a Hot Commodity on Auction

A strategically located commercial property tenanted by a renowned petroleum company in Chiawelo, Soweto, could be yours. That’s according to Park Village Auctions’ Clive Lazarus, who today announced that the prominent commercial property is to be sold by auction near month-end.

Lazarus states that the property, which is subject to a Notarial Deed of Lease, presents a blue-chip investment opportunity with a solid income stream secured by the long-term lease.

“Fuel is liquid gold, an essential commodity, which is in constant high demand,” says Lazarus as he explains that the established convenience centre receives high vehicular and pedestrian traffic thanks to its locality at 7306 Manotshe Street, Chiawelo, Soweto and will ensure the continuity and longevity of the relationship with the tenant.

The immovable asset, which stems from Tshiawelo Holdings (Pty) Ltd, currently in liquidation, is to be sold via simulcast auction on Tuesday, 24 June 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

The features of the 2915-square-metre premises include a generous forecourt and a commercial building fitted to the tenant’s specification, which features multiple petroleum and diesel-dispensing pumps, a fully fitted retail convenience store, a manager’s office, a storeroom, male and female restrooms, a wheelchair-accessible restroom, and ample customer parking.

Viewing is to be arranged by appointment by contacting Jaco du Toit at 082 798 9476 or Park Village Auctions at 011 789 4375 and auctions@parkvillage.co.za.
